PowerGen 2019 is now behind us, but PowerGen gave us a vision of the future of power; we were not disappointed. American Fire Technologies was excited to setup a booth and participate in the event. Many colleagues took time to visit our booth and meet with our representatives. In addition, AFT’s General Manager, Paul Hayes, was one of the panel members for the “Session 2C: Lithium-ion and the Future of Safe Energy Storage” along with other members: Chris Ruckman, Energy Storage Director, Burns & McDonnell: Ray Hohenstein, market applications director, Fluence: Jay Goldin, Vice President, Munich Re Green Tech Solutions: Peter Gibson, Vice President, LG Chem: Todd Kerschbaum, Chief Technical Officer, JERA Americas. There was much interest and discussion surrounding the topic of energy storage safety as the members welcomed Q&A’s. Looking forward to PowerGen 2020!
