Li-ion Tamer Partners with American Fire Technologies

Li-ion Tamer® and American Fire Technologies will be partnering to deliver the ultimate safety solution for stationary lithium-ion battery systems. AFT & Li-ion Tamer will look to implement the best detection scheme possible for preventing, containing and mitigating lithium-ion battery failures. This will include technologies for addressing all stages of a battery failure, as shown in the failure stages icon below. The Li-ion Tamer off-gas monitor has the ability to diagnose off-gas events released by single cells with the Rack Monitor (Li-ion Tamer Rack Monitor product page). Congratulations AFT Charlotte Division

American Fire Technologies, Charlotte Division, was noted in Xtralis’ January 2018 newsletter for their recent work at Carteret County Detention Center in Beaufort, NC. This project required specific safety needs and the Charlotte team, working with Xtralis, was able to provide design and installation to successfully meet those challenges. Tournament to Benefit American Cancer Society

American Fire Technologies has once again participated in a fund raising event held by one of its customers.  The Plant Bowen Chapter of the Citizens of Georgia Power hosted a successful Sporting Clays Tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, in which AFT participated as a Gold Sponsor.  Our very own Don Padgett (Industrial Sales Manager) participated in this event and brought along 3 other good shooters. The weather held out and a good time was had by all. Thanks to all for joining in support of such a meaningful cause.

Fire Safety in the Workplace

American Fire Technologies encourages all workplaces and job sites to practice workplace fire safety.  The National Safety Council has posted a beneficial article, “Fire safety: Every Worker Plays a Role” , on safe workplace practices. Workplace hazards can be avoided with such measures as inspections, checklists, and awareness. AFT suggest, at the start of this new year, all workers pause and assess their workplace safety. Be mindful of Fire Safety!!!
