American Fire Technologies encourages all workplaces and job sites to practice workplace fire safety. The National Safety Council has posted a beneficial article, “Fire safety: Every Worker Plays a Role” , on safe workplace practices. Workplace hazards can be avoided with such measures as inspections, checklists, and awareness. AFT suggest, at the start of this new year, all workers pause and assess their workplace safety. Be mindful of Fire Safety!!!

The Plant Bowen Chapter of the Citizens of Georgia Power hosted a successful Sporting Clays Tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, in which AFT participated as a Gold Sponsor. Our very own Don Padgett (Industrial Sales Manager) participated in this event and brought along 3 other good shooters. The weather held out and a good time was had by all. Thanks to all for joining in support of such a meaningful cause.
